i also went to bukit bintang on the christmas night after coming from my Christmas outing in Putrajaya and the crowd was so insanely huge! luckily, I already saw pavilion's famous Christmas decorations earlier.
The crowd at Pavilion was already huge some 2 weeks before Christmas. So I can imagine how insanely huge it was on Christmas night. I am now eagerly awaiting MBS CNY light up event. However, there’s no indication on their website. Please let me know if you know. Thanks.
This place is very vibrant. The area is still busy at midnight. I was thinking... what's behind the busy main roads? So I explored in the daytime and recorded as I walked. Video will be uploaded much later as there's just too many events happening in Singapore now. This includes several non CNY events.
Your video says it all! The Bukit Bintang intersection, the main street in tropical countries, Malaysia, where temperatures are always over 30 degrees, is fully decorated and bustling for Christmas. The city is transformed into a performance venue, and the inside and outside of several malls are filled with various gorgeous Christmas decorations and lively people.🌟 "Falling Snow" is a popular attraction, and the cheers and joyful expressions of adults and children are captured on the video lens. Even though 70% of the country is Muslim, December 25th is a national holiday. The event brings the world together…. A Muslim friend said, "I recognize the difference in religions, but it's not a religious event, people enjoy it as a kind of festival every year." ✨ This video footage really realized that to us. Yosh and Iku
It is good that people of all races in Malaysia can celebrate festivals together. Your Muaslim friend said it well. By putting religion aside and celebrating the festivals, everyone will live in harmony. Bukit Bintang is really vibrant. The street is still crowded after-midnight. I wonder how the people get home.
